ABOUT ME

I am Zaakirah Mohamed - an author, gender-based violence activist, mentor and community advocate. My work is rooted in lived experience, faith and a deep belief that healing is possible, even after profound loss and trauma. I walk alongside women and communities through conversations many are afraid to have such as grief, abuse, resilience, faith and rebuilding a life after pain.I am the author of Mercy: The Parables of Rose, a book that speaks honestly about survival, womanhood and the quiet strength it takes to choose healing. My work moves beyond words into action through workshops, community initiatives and advocacy rooted in dignity, mercy and restoration. This space exists for truth, safety, growth and holds no room for judgement.
