Zaakirah Mohamed

Author • GBV Activist • Mentor • Advocate for Healing & Resilience

Welcome.
If you’re here, it’s not by accident.
You’ve arrived carrying questions, wounds, quiet prayers, or a longing you can’t quite name. Perhaps you’re searching for healing. Perhaps you’re searching for truth. Or perhaps you’re searching for permission to rest, to feel, to begin again.
This space was created for those who have lived through what almost broke them… and chose to live anyway.
I'm Zaakirah. Author, trauma coach, gender-based violence activist and founder of a purpose-driven nonprofit. But more than titles, I am a woman who knows what it means to lose, to grieve, to question and to return to Allah with a heart shaking, but sincere. Here, we speak about the things often whispered in silence: trauma, faith, loss, resilience, womanhood, grief, healing, and the mercy that meets us even in our darkest hours. This is not a place of perfection. It is a place of honesty. A place where pain is acknowledged, faith is reclaimed and healing is approached with compassion, not judgement. If you are tired of pretending.
If you are healing but still hurting.
If you are seeking Allah after everything you’ve endured,
Then you are home.
Take your time.
Read slowly.
Breathe deeply.
What you need may be waiting for you here.
